Oh yeah? From what I can remember of their announcement trailers over the years (for various games), their games look pretty damn close to what they initially show. They don't use that CGI bullshit that many other developers use to pull you into their games (false advertisement if you ask me, lol). One thing they might do is use a PC build for the trailers to show more detail, but it's still the in-game engine is it not?

The smart thing Rockstar and Dice (Battlefield Games) are doing is: They show footage from the game @ a super high tuned pc. This is a pc thats not even on market and wont be on the market for maybe 1-2 year. Sometimes they even use a few of these beast pc's to make it look the best of the best. But nobody will ever get the same graphics as they have in the trailer. Cause the stuff they use for the footage is not even out there, and wont be there for a long time.

I agree the GTA trailers are not a huge difference compared to the real games. But its 100% made look better. I worked 6 months for them, and they told me everyything about it.

Its not even a secret. Alot developers making the trailers looks better with software. Rockstar (2kgames) is doing that a diff way and use hardware that not even see the daylight on the consument market.

Am I hearing things or does this guy sound just a tad bit like Ray Liotta (voice of Tommy Vercetti from Vice City)? I might be jumping the gun but could this be a return to a former protagonist? That character they showed though looked a little like the Max Payne they're showing in Max Payne 3. Assuming that guy is the character you play as.

They're goin' goin' back, back to Cali, cali ... well in this case Los Santos. The graphics look much brighter and vivid as compared to IV (probably because of the cities they represent). The character looks a bit like Pierce Brosnan which gives me the feeling of a story based on white middle class America and the bad side associated with it.
