Here's a question I have for everyone. I've always noticed that the beat arrangement for the 3rd verse up til the breakdown of the beat is actually the arrangement of the 1st and 2nd verse, making it sound like the 3rd verse a different take of the song stitched together to the tail end of the 1st 2 verses. I want to cut out the gap where the beat appears to start over before the 3rd verse kicks in, but here's my question. Should I let the acapella for the 3rd verse play on top of the breakdown section

Or should I keep the 3rd verse similar to the OG and let the 3rd verse which would act as a 4th verse play over the breakdown?

let it play over breakdown section...inpther words the sample you gave is the way to keep it.

Well at the moment I'm trying to find out what the background noises are in the song. I was telling Krysis earlier that I have an inkling that it's various chopped up pieces of "Funkentelechy" as well.

This is another idea I've been playing with. Like I said before, since the OG, beat wise, appears to repeat the arrangements for the 1st & 2nd verses once the song reachs the 3rd rap verse, I figure maybe a different arrangement could fill that slot. I interpolated Shock G's "No Face Promo" version of the beat as a test and sorta like a blend between both versions. Of course it isnt an exact replica of it, cuz there's no way I recreate all what was going on in that beat lol. (Also the No Face Promo version uses a different bass instrument. I didn't feel like going through the trouble of finding one that matches, so I'm using the one that I aready had.)

Very nice. Its coming along nicely!! Thank @kool91 for all the labor in this. As you finish it, I would just look to ensure the right amount of "beat drops" are there and that the length of each is the right length.

I aint gon front, I'm a bit worried about how adding the 3rd verse from the Retail Version and how it's gonna sound with the rest of the mix, cuz the cadence is a bit different from this version. I'll try to work my magic on it tho. Like usual, maybe I'll 2 versions: 1 with it and the other without it.

At times I do feel the drops are a bit long, but for some reason when I tried to do it any other way it felt like they were too short and couldn't top this way. The other thing that I have been thinking about doing once I finish the track is slighty pitch the song down a few semitones to match the pitch of the OG.
