Where did you get the "Yeah" vocal sample from? KW and I guessed last year, that it must be from G Funk Intro, possible Dre's vocals

Sort of what [MENTION=2072]KW said. I actually sampled the portions of No Face Promo and used a plug-in on Pro Tools called Vintage Filter (basically an EQ plugin) to take all the low end. The vocal in the background I believe is Shock G saying "Don't be afraid"

I was making a pun about the title of both songs "Are You Still Down" & "R U Still Down" which confused quite a few people (not intentionally though lol) Some people on YouTube took it that I was saying that this was the "original remix" for "Are You Still Down" (some went as far as commenting "this ain't the original... "Tongue Kissing" is the original) What I was actually saying is that this is a/my remix for "Are You Still Down with a remake/remix of the beat of "R U Still Down OG.

Around this time of making this remix I attempted to redo the retail version and the unreleased versions of R U Still Down, but neither one of them weren't going too well so I abandoned both mixes.

I never really was too crazy about the retail version. I like Curtis Mayfield but I wasn't crazy about the song that the retail album sampled for RUSD. I don't know why it makes me think of like a "Western" (ironic lol) The moment I heard the other version I was blown away and like "maaaan forget that retail version"

Confusion is due to the estate not sorting all the damn tracks before releasing anything. They should have done something like this

1. Raise Em Up | Remember Me or R U Still Down I
2. R U Still Down Part II (this would be the shock version)
3. Are U Still Down or Still Down or Down 4 Me

way less confusion. But yet we got so many similar song titles and the ones they changed did not need changed. Same goes for When I Get Free, that is one big clusterfuck when they could have just renamed the 92 version. But something tells me the estate did not know the 95 take existed yet.
