Why do you want a "remaster" of Pac's Life from the Ref set? IMO the Evo version is much better since it does not have missing and lower volume elements like on the Ref set

^ Oh okay, but... you uploaded mp3's for remaster? The set leaked in WAV. Always best to remaster Lossless files instead of degrading them, then attempting a remaster... Just sayin. This thread and [MENTION=943]MrMind are great, but maybe stick remastering the actual best quality versions already out.

I understand, but you still get a better result from remastering LOSSLESS then converting to mp3 as opposed to converting then remastering.

I totally agree with [MENTION=2922]johnnie360. He is 100% correct. Always use the best quality rips to attempt any kind of enhancements such as waves or flac if all possible. Then once the enhancements are made then you can convert them to mp3.

Much better, the WAVs cause much less in the way of artificating when remastering so its a much better choice to use them where available as the end MP3 will always sound so much better.

Why do you want to degrade wav files by cut off sound quality by high compression scheme's by using mp3. Mp3 is only good for one thing if you have a mp3 with only 500megabytes of space like the old days. Still dont know why people still like this format so much. Yeah sure if we get songs that are only available in Mp3 then ill enjoy the Mp3's to but if WAV is there and it are real WAV's no need to fuck with the quality by downgrading to an compressed format. But i think thats each one of his own tastes. Btw why needs the reference set remastering when it already sounds so good against every other rip out there, i like everything original but then again thats everyones likes and tastes i think.
