  • LBC Crew - I'll Smoke to That (Dominator's Guitar Mix)

One of my favorite LBC Crew songs for years. It always bothered me that the guitar layer was mostly missing from the final version, only appearing briefly at 04:42 and 04:52 (plus 05:01 on the Reference CD version).

I isolated the guitar from the A/B Reel instrumental Mix, upscaled it with FlashSR Super Resolution, and mixed it into the leaked Reference CD version.

Hope you'll enjoy as much as I do

hmmm i dont know if i like it or not. i can understand the motive behind it and yes it would make sense, so i give it a like of course all those ideas and work behind it.

ok now dont take it any wrong of course its a funky guitar layer BUT it breaks through the funky mellow flow of the floating track, because it got already enough breaks and specials in it.

if you can find a more balanced use of the guitar layer and not to make it too boring over the time would be more effective . let your feelings glide not too perfect and every few secs.
like the keys playing from 3:06 over 3:15 and you will also find more gutiar after that to give the lyrics more room. i can not put that into words

      Appreciate the feedback
Yea, I've been thinking about doing a more varied mix, will most likely do one as well. I just think the guitar is fucking dope lol.

Another interesting thing I've noticed: That PO Archive "A and B reel" mp3 had the exact same tempo as the ref CD, I didn't have to adjust anything or something.

I love that, because that guitar was only present on the end of the song, very shortly, was like a lil highlight of the track.

i like your mix, and i always loved that track a lot!!! Bumped it so many times!

I feel the same! Fell in love with that track ever since I heard that crappy low quality mp3 with the censored words lol.
