I've never heard the original. Is that bad? I was kind of happy with a pella that was new to me. I didn't have an OG playing in my head the whole time distracting me.

I just want to say even though I wanted to take part in this and did my mix etc etc I was a wee bit disappointed that it was Initiated that we were using for this one.

For some reason I found it hard to get the right flavour for the pella. (Hopefully you guys know what I mean by that).

But I understand that Initiated is one of the lesser used 'pac pellas.

pacs flow on the beat is also weird as fck.... if the song was not available for reference it would be nearly impossible to figure out how to place pacs part on a beat...

I made a little mistake yesterday, told 2 ppl the deadline is 2feb, was confused myself I think lol.


So i decided to make the deadline 2feb, and to start the voting 3 feb. But if will recieve all mixes today, the original dates will be used.

I think it was cuz I already used Initiated for my 15 year tribute tape last year and I was determined to somehow use it.

To go back to it again and do something different was a bit of a challenge like you said.

Everybody have his own opinion about which pella would be nice for a tournament. With every acapella we would have chosen, there would have been someone that didnt like the pella. Personally I like this acapella, pac with dpg etc plus the change for the djs to be creative with all 9 diff layers.

And like u said, this pella is hard to mix. Thats another reason we choose it. A big challenge to make a good remix.
