why was i born
why did i arrive
why did a life come into being
why is it all bout me

i tried, i cried, i stumbled, i crawled
i reached out, i hung on
but.....

forever seems so far away
n today is no better day
failures find me
torment ruins me
pleasure absconds me
fun deludes me

will the load of trials get a lil lighter
will the days ahead get a bit brighter
will i get to know a better lifetime
will i get to achieve and say its all mine

i will be strong
cos the road ahead is long
i will fight the battle as it rages
i will make sure my story has many pages

i am just a sojourner in this timespan call life
with all its miseries, contemptment and strife
but God has a plan built for my future
and its something im gonna nurture

A strong piece to beheld. It's a flexible piece. To me, it's about yearning to achieve, and no matter what obstacles you hit on the road of life you know in your heart you will succeed. The last line says it best.
