Price is allright for a new console. Every new playstation was fucking expensive..and imo its a huuge step that the ps4 will do. Bigger then ps2>ps3

Gaming consoles were always around this price. The ps2 was 1150 gulden (600 euro).

I think 400 and 500 for a brand bew console is cheap. U pay way more for a pc. ppl pay 700 for an iphone or ipad, so 400-500 is not that expensive.

Dont let me start with pcs or iphones they are super dupaa overpriced!!!

What about COD dlc?? Most of it was part of the normal game, but they cut it out to re-sell it as dlc. And you play it. Same as millions of others.

I don't play a lot online, but i do. So i'll just play the singleplayer mode.

I always thought that games were expensive, even when i was playin on SNES ha ha. The problem is, that when there's a new game release, here in stores it costs, let's say around 60€. U have to wait until the price drops. Why wait? Because if u buy a used one, then the pass to play online for example ain't working no more, so u have to buy it brand new.

The only game i buy on the release date is AC because i usually buy the collector.

Ea used a code for used games, but they stopped it. I cant remember any game i needed a new code to play it.

You dont need to pay for singleplayer, only when playing online which will never be finished in 3-4 hours. When u never play online, you dont need it.

Seriously why the hell u pay 65 for a games? Can get all new games for 50 euro or less.

Plus i dont understand why ppl say games are so expensive, because games werent cheaper in the past. I paid the same for n64 games etc.

People dont want to pay 5 for online gaming, but pay easily 15 euro for crappy cod DLC with only 4 new maps lol

They dont make millions of money anymore. ms and sony are doing economic wise really bad. You get a lot new stuff when u pay 5 dollar a week, like free games, early beta's, better connections, better server. I really dont see 5 dollar a week as a problem. That example with a bigger tv is stupid, because its not an extra service. A tv is hardware and online is a service thing from from hardware.

Online is an extra service with cost a lot money (millions of servers). And yes u pay extra for bigger and better tv's

I mean it's not like music and movies, where everybody download stuff for free, most still buy games (physical copy or via PS store) so they still make a lot a of money off games & consoles.
