  • Nintendo Ends Production Of Wii Console

It's a wrap for Nintendo's Wii console, as the company quietly ends production.

Spotted by Polygon.com, Nintendo Japan made the news official on Monday (October 21) with a short statement on the system's product page: "production over."

The Wii, which debuted in 2006, has sold over 100 million units worldwide. It paved the way for motion-controlled units that followed -- including the Kinect or PlayStation Move.

Nintendo failed to create the same excitement with the Wii U. Stay tuned...

To be honest Nintendo haven't been good for the past 10 years.
