Deadline is reporting that rapper/actor/puffer Snoop Dogg is set to star in a family comedy pilot for NBC.

The pilot, in which Snoop Dogg will play the father of the household, has landed a script commitment deal and will be written by sitcom vet Don Reo (My Wife and Kids, Blossom). Snoop himself will be a producer while Reo will executive produce.
