The song was originally released as a good friday joint. It started to get some circulation afterwards, radio stations started playing it and what not and people started to like it. Thats what got him to release it as the single. Nicki murders the song btw.

Forgot it was a G.O.O.D. Friday joint, quite a couple of those songs made it to his album which surprised me. "The Joy" is supposed to be on the upcoming "Watch the Throne" Jay-Z/Kanye collab. And yeah, I'm not a huge Nicki Minaj fan, but she was the only one who brought the heat.

Also... can't wait for the Illuminati theories!

Yah, Nicki Minaj does sound good on the song. Jay-Z sounds as bland as ever, and Kanye, as always, sounds like he's trying to hard to sound hard. bleh. This song does NOT need to be 6mins long.

this is probably the worst song on the album. shouldnt get a video
