I don't think the One Day as a Lion EP is half hearted, and the songs and features released are great.

The man is not a slave to the fans, and why should he be?
Maybe he also wants more from his fans? He has given us all the inspiration we need.

I'm happier to have quality songs every now and then compared to a load of songs I'll never listen to again.
Quality>Quantity. Both would be nice, but I won't be greedy.

i have to say that those 20min EP is not that half hearted, but i wrote about the overall picture. so it depends how you define quality without talking about quantity and you can be sure i dont want somebody to be a personal audio slave (wordplay ^^)

busy in what? half-hearted projects. the fans want more, then just a song here and a feature there. if you look, how much Tom Morello and the rest of RATM brought up in the past years after RATM.

He never stopped being calm like a bomb if you ask me.

In the past 20 years he has released at least 1 song, an EP or featured on a song every year apart from about 6. And this is after he already had a few classic albums under his belt.

Also, one of the years that he didn't release a new song or EP (2007), he toured with RATM again for the first time in years.
He's been busy igniting other stuff too.
