Shyne is OK I guess :/
u know what i actually do remember that for the record song i just didn't know it was shyne, and that reminds me i think it was also shyne spitting on that usher confessions remix? do you think they just they have him listening to instrumental on head phones during the phone as he spits to the beat, or do you think he just spits it with no beat and then people at the studio have to do a a crop and shift job to make sure his flow is on time the whole time? or bit of both. couldn't they clean up the vocals with some vocals "restoration" techniques or like some noise reduction or something like damn.
just listened to that for the record track, he actually goes in on 50. imagine hearing that in studio version. 50's attention might of been on shyne more than ja? perhaps maybe he wouldn't of been as successful?Last edited by Phenomenon; 10-26-2018, 01:15 AM.

what i gather from this is that these type of people usually have the attention span of the length of a vine video so they don't have the patience to hear something that starts of slow or something that is progressive. they don't realise with all these old music there be like 4 minutes of a song that might not be to your taste, but within that 4 minutes they might be like a 10-20 second Gem of a melody/composition etc... that has the potential of a sample that primarily gives you that "sick" sound that you would of liked in a rap song. (i know this is a producer's mentality, but i know a lot people will still appreciate samples without needing take on the producer perspective. but yeah this approach is what allowed me to appreciate other genres.. apart from that i had other mediums that allow me to appreciate different genres such as: GTA games for them 70s-80s songs, Tony hawk games for hip hop, ska punk & reggae rock, tom & jerry and Terry Cartoons for jazz music-all this took me out of my comfort zone as a child as well as my parents playing their Spanish music, all that taught me to see other genres or old songs rather than just label them as "corny" and call it a day.
i understand people listen to music differently and some people just have it as background music. But god damn..
but yeah that remake was dope, the FL studio days and that buffering rate clicking was so aids and it was so hard trying to get sound fonts and vsts that had instruments that didn't sound so synthetic.
Have you ever considered getting one of these for your hip hop tracks, this technology apparently works well with old music making it more "life like" which makes it "perfect" for hip hop since it uses samples from old songs it might give it more depth?. i was actually interested on how it would sound. i wonder if it would be okay to use monitor speakers with this? but i guess since this pre-amp is coloured it would probably defeat the purpose since monitor speakers are utilised due to there flat response. what do you think? [MENTION=15439]Husxle i'll include u in on this one too.Last edited by Phenomenon; 10-26-2018, 01:51 AM.

do you think aztek escobar copied his style? or did shyne only come out with that slow deep flow voice after he came out of pen?
i only like the last 2 tracks, not so much the track on the first video, but thats the track that reminded me of shynes voice
sounds more like Juice from the BWS. Shyne was in the pen not paying attention to music which is believable I guess. he purposely said on a XXL article that he wanted to change his voice too move past old Shyne and raps for the streets and prison. my best friend from school got hit with 7 years in the bing and when we connected his voice was drastically different felt forced but who knows
