Speaking of which, Dre didn't even produce one song on this album. He's only credited contribution is the mixing of Monster. I was kind of hoping to hear new "beats by Dre"....Originally posted by Klockwork View PostWhy avoid the Dre question : \

I'm glad you brought that up cause I was gonna go and shit on the mmlp 2 leak thread.Originally posted by Biological View PostSpeaking of which, Dre didn't even produce one song on this album. Just because it has Dre's name stamped on it doesn't mean crap, I didn't hear any Dre substance. He probably just sat in there in the studio, handpicked the songs & got his name credited for marketing advantages

I definitely share the same sentiments in what you're saying, however to be fare what you described is in the EP's (executive producers) job description. Track selection, overseeing the project and so forth. Most EP's don't produce beats (Suge Knight) for example. Dre EP'd this album because of the Aftermath contract. His named would appear regardless of marketing. But yeah, you're right. In this case it almost seems like a marketing promotion thing. It's never really felt like that before so, strange on that. And it's strange that this is the vary first Em album to not feature any hands-on musical production from Dr. Dre. He's always been credited as executive producer but I believe this is the first album that he's not credited for any musical production. Only credited for mixing down a single.Originally posted by Klockwork View PostI'm glad you brought that up cause I was gonna go and shit on the mmlp 2 leak thread.

I'm glad that there is no Dr. Dre beat ...Relapse is so boring & monosonic ...every song on Relapse sounds the same ...exception: Beautiful and the bonus tracks which were produced by Eminem ...the production style he [Eminem] has since Relapse is amazingOriginally posted by adoutlaw View Postno dre production at all on the albumMy 2PAC Collection | Status: 09/27/2018
