Bill Murray Gives Thumbs Up to Female Ghostbusters Reboot

Bill Murray is currently at the Toronto International Film Festival, which named today as "Bill Murray Day" in honor of the Oscar nominee. While doing press there, Murray gave his blessing to the reportedly female-centric Ghostbusters reboot.

Murray was asked about the project while talking to Access Hollywood's Scott Mantz (via Schmoes Know): "It sounds great to me. It sounds as good an idea as any other! There are a lot of women that could scare off any kind of vapor! No, it’s a grand idea, I don’t know who they’re talking about, but it’s a good idea, I would watch it!"

The one and only Dr. Peter Venkman added, "I mean, I love Robert Palmer’s videos, so why wouldn’t I love the female Ghostbusters?"
