First Look at Sir Ian McKellen as Sherlock Holmes

X-Men and Lord of the Rings star Ian McKellen gave us our first look at him as Sherlock Holmes in a film called Mr. Holmes. The movie is being directed by Bill Condon (Dream Girls) and is based on the book A Slight Trick of the Mind. McKellen will obviously be playing an older version of Holmes. The character will be looking back on the events of his life, such as the cases he worked on and his love life. The movie also stars Laura Linney, and is currently in production around England.

WTF??? He's too old for this shit!!!! Who wants to see an old Holmes reflecting on his life??? Sounds like the studio doesn't mind losing bucks. SMH
