Here's a quick update about the "Ryda" situation, only FYI and for the record. There is some important information for 2Pac-Forum staff that's actually relevant to this site
I was able to successfully counter-notify every copyright claim Ryda sent, and at the same time sent various harassment reports to YT support. Whatever set it all in motion, that situation ended up with Ryda's two channels (Tha Row Ryda and Tha Row Scene) being terminated. He has created a "backup" channel where he posted a few videos so far. He has posted updates that imply that he is getting YouTube Partner Program customer support, which for one thing means that his old channel was monetized. So he was making money off of all those unreleased songs people were listening to, which is abominable. More to the point, he seems to think they will reinstate his channel, but that is 100% not going to happen.
He attempted to send a few copyright strikes from two other alternate YouTube accounts he has, but I've successfully counter-notified those as well and he has since stopped sending copyright strikes. At least he must have understood that he's just gonna lose his alternate accounts that way if he continues. He has "escalated the game" though. He posted a video on his new "backup" channel showing an FBI report. He sent an FBI tip that we are selling and distributing unreleased music in the Discord server. I'm trying to imagine the logistics of how FBI would investigate something like that, but I assume if they decided to follow up on his generic, AI-written tip, they would have a transcript of every message sent in the server printed to a file by Discord themselves, go through it all and realize there's nothing there, and go on about their business.
Now here's the kicker. This all happened about two weeks ago, and then two days ago he decided to also send an FBI tip about 2pac-forum.com for some reason. He is accusing you of selling and distributing unreleased Toopack Shaker music for profit. You can see his screenshot of his report in this video he posted:
It's laughable and obviously written by AI. "Reportedly" etc. I wouldn't worry too much, for one the tip is so general and unspecific there's not much to investigate. This hardly seems worth putting man hours into. And the logistics of that operation would be the same as with the Discord server - long before anyone's brought in for questioning or put in jail, I assume they would just type the URL into their browser and have a look around first. And then they would quickly realize what's going on. I just thought I'd bring it to your attention.
