Goldeneye was wicked fun in multiplayer. Couldn't stand the single-player mission, but multiplayer was awesome. Playing as Oddjob with proximity mines -- I would fuck some people up!

i remember everyone would get so pissed would people would be oddjob cuz he was so small that you couldnt shoot him good.. lol..


another thing about the proxies that you mentioned.. i remember that each time i got them i would rig as many spawn points as i could so when people would spawn it was instant death.. puttin like 5 in the top air vent thing in the bathroom always made for an epic hardcore explosion when someone would spawn into them.. lol.. man that game was awsome.. another trick was the ol A and B at the same time with the remote mines for instant explosion.. i would just throw them at people instead of using guns... lol

Goldeneye was legit, i played the fuck out of that game when i was younger. I always thought the same about updating it and moving it to the PS3, why not when it would be such a huge hit?

Funny thing, yesterday I picked up both of these games used because my original ones are lost somewhere. These are two of the best fps games of all time, and I would buy a 360 just for a graphically improved version of PD

It has been done before, people are working on a Golden Eye mod for Half Life 2

Its for the pc, u can download the beta and its completly free, but then u gotta have HL2 to play this mod

They've done similar things on 360 Marketplace with arcade games and such, keeping the game original just updating/making the graphics HD. I believe there was talk of these coming to 360 arcade too but may have been a rumour.
I did love Goldeneye though one of my all time favourite games, I must have played it for years lol literally....saying that I played an emulation on PC of it not to long back and was like eh..I cant play this.

ok.. now im not sure about you but i used to love these games.. first goldeneye and then perfect dark.. these two games plus a couple wrestling games were prolly the best games for the n64 system.. goldeneye being the first of the two i would have to say was more like one of the greatest games of all time... just my opinion though..

now what i was thinking... why dont they completely rebuild the game but keep the same structure.... just update the graphics and all that to make it look up to date and re-release one of these two games.. with the same levels same guns and everything.. just new realistic graphics... i think the game that would have the best chance of this happening to it however would be perfect dark because its all original sept some of the levels from goldeneye -(genius) imagine just playing this game but with the graphics like cod and halo.. it would be amazing.. i dont think that anything like this has ever been done before but why not make this the first.. i think this would defenitly sell well.. i mean.. who really couldnt like these two games???? some people might not have loved them as i do but still see the potential and know theres still good games...

come on now!!
