  • Cocktail For Game Day

NFL fans across the country are eagerly awaiting the NFC and AFC championship games this Sunday (January 23), including Pittsburgh fans.

The Steelers are preparing for the big game, and hometown folks are filled with anticipation.

In honor of his hometown team, former "Steeler" Chuck Sanders, an athlete-turned entrepreneur has a created a special cocktail for fans to sip during Sunday's game.

Using his own Fever Stimulation Beverage, Sanders has come up with a concoction called Savoy's Pittsburgh Fever Punch, featuring all three flavors of Fever combined in honor of the city's three rivers.

    Below is the recipe:

3 oz. Fever Stimulation Beverage (all three flavors, combined)
    1 oz. Cruzan Mango Rum
    1 oz. Bacardi 151
    Splash of sours
    Splash of Sprite
Mix ingredients with ice and garnish with a lime

A rep for the company says: "The 100% all natural, functional beverage is designed to stimulate the body's senses, enhance body wellness, and provide feelings of pleasure and euphoria, giving fans the energy to keep waving those Terrible Towels through to the final down."

In addition to Fever, Sanders is set to open a restaurant in Pittsburgh called Savoy very soon. The eatery boasts chef Kevin Watson, who has over 25 years as a executive chef and pastry chef.
