Rap Stars Line Up For Howard University’s Homecoming

Hip-Hop mogul Sean “Diddy” Combs will return to Howard University this weekend, to celebrate homecoming festivities along with a variety of popular rap stars.

The 2012 Howard University homecoming, billed as “Legendary: The Essence of Icons,” is being produced by promoter Jacob York and his company Jacob York Presents.

The Howard Homecoming weekend will kick off with a release party hosted by popular model/actress Sheneka Adams, who will help Gucci Mane celebrate the release of his latest mixtape, “Trap God” tomorrow (October 1.

Diddy will host the official yard fest after party on Friday (October 19) at Ibiza Nightclub, while T.I. will close out the weekend on Saturday (October 20) with a special appearance at Fur Nightclub.

“Howard University has proven over and over again to be one of the biggest and most anticipated homecoming events for the urban community,” Jacob York told AllHipHop.com in a statement. “Everyone from Ludacris to Atlanta’s own Mayor Kasim Reed frequent this event yearly. As a premier nightlife brand, it was very important to us to continue the legacy by hosting three of Hip-Hops chart topping artists at this year’s festivities…one with whom got his start at Howard.”
