It's still fucked up, but i manage to deal with it, no biggie

HP laptops are imo bad laptops. I fixed mine yesterday. It started with a blank screen and flickering leds and did nothing only heard the fan, has been like that for a while. I fixed it by covering it in blankets and let it overheat for 2 hours. It works again after a long time. Apparently a whole line had overheating issues which caused chips to melt from their connectors. Basically this fix melted them back on...
