Yea exactly, here's the 2 versions i have. "real dirty" version is without the singer

Anyone happen to know where the dirty version with rock edited out is from? Some promo cd or something?

*Third verse still had "rock" censored on promo version, it's left in on the other one

I took the rock from the crap version and edited it into the good Q version. Not a real wav obviously but i didn't want to degrade it further by converting it back to mp3.

Do you consider this X's best album? For me, I'd put it just a notch under It's Dark And Hell Is Hot. Reason being, not a fan of Keep Your Shit The Hardest or the song with Jay-Z. Then of course the censoring of Slippin'. Whereas I can't really complain about anything on his first album. Can't think of many albums with a better opening track.

I have signed copy of it and I've considered it my favorite X album, but if I really compared and analyzed it against the debut release... Those 2 are his best no doubt. Both have a few shit songs. Ruff Ryders Anthem for example is trash and so is No Love 4 Me.

I like Keep Your Shit the Hardest. A straight up constipation/retention rap!

What does the CD look like? I might have it.

The IDAHIH advance promo CD is interesting too. The tracks are cut differently and they are mono. Haven't done further comparisons, but there might be additional differences.

They also edited Where the Hood At on the explicit album. The leaked advance album had the unedited version. I purchased a few promo discs and found the unedited one at least on one of em.

There was no picture of the disc with the scene release (and I lied, the clean version is on there too)

Rather than start another thread, I'll ask this in here..

Is the version of It's Goin' Down with Faith Evans available uncensored? Everything that's up on YouTube are fan edits with the curses pasted in. Anybody know why this wasn't put on the album? I'm assuming it's the original version.

A link if a legit version is available would be appreciated. #VIP

I always thought they added Faith Evans and added a few more elements to make it more radio friendly. Probably done after the album came out for the single.
