  • Question about keyboard in 2Pac's "There U Go"

So I'm listening to the demo version of There U Go with the proposed mixing error that causes the chorus to run throughout the song.

    I'm picking up, besides drums/percussion/bass:
    - A muted guitar playing picks
    - A glockenspiel- or other bell-like instrument playing 3 notes every 2 bars
    - A rhodes-like keyboard

The keyboard keeps playing live throughout the song and it's never the same. In the last two minutes it just sounds amazing. It sounds like it's set up in a way that only let's it play say four notes at the same time, and any other notes will trigger a legato like note change. Some notes flow into other notes as if by a pitch wheel, while some notes progress without legato (and so it can't be by a pitch wheel). So I'm wondering if anyone can actually tell me what kind of keyboard they must've used to record this, and how I could set up a midi keyboard with a patch to be able to play this and have the note progression sound like in the instrumental?
